Job Summary:

Swirl Suites Rolled Ice Cream, offers creative and traditional homemade, handmade, personalized ice cream products in a fun and customer centric environment. Swirl Suites is seeking enthusiastic, dependable and customer-focused individuals to join our team of specialists. As a vital member of our staff, you will contribute to creating a delightful experience for our customers by preparing and serving a variety of ice cream flavors and treats. Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and prompt manner.

Provide product information and recommendations (upsell).

Process customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.

Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues professionally.

Able to collaborate with other team members on content creation and menu suggestions to build sales.

Food Preparation:

Prepare freshly made rolled ice cream, able to work at a fast pace and ensure customer orders are correct.

Scoop and serve ice cream with attention to portion control and presentation of ice cream reflects the standards of the shop.

Prepare and assemble sundaes, shakes, small baked items and other ice cream treats.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including topping stations and equipment.

Follow recipes and guidelines for consistency in product quality.

Cash Handling:

Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.

Process payments, issue receipts, and provide correct change.

Maintain a balanced cash drawer at all times.

Encourage customers to participate in rewards programs or special events as they occur.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Clean and sanitize serving utensils, equipment, and surfaces regularly.

Monitor and replenish supplies, such as ice cream flavors, toppings, and napkins.

Assist in routine store cleaning tasks.

Follow the store’s daily, weekly and monthly deep cleaning tasks as outlined.

Swirl Suites Requirements:

Must be 16 years or older.

Prior experience in a customer service or food service role is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Must maintain a neat and professional appearance.
